Do bear with me

I seem to be having rather a busy time of it at the moment. I have just moved house you see and am still in the process of 'sorting'. By which I mean half-heartedly unpacking some boxes and collapsing into bed at 9.30pm.
There are more posts to come, I have a plan and everything but they might be more sparse than usual.
So, in the meantime to tide things over I have a question: if you could only eat ONE dessert for the rest of your life, what would it be? I think mine would have to be a pie, or a crumble, maybe a cheesecake...

Have fun with sorting things out after your house move, I would hate to move again. I think it would have to be crumble for me. The filling still undecided though I think it would have to be apple.

you have my sympathy over the moving house thing. It's never any fun!
My favourite dessert would probably be apple tarte tatin - or possibly creme caramel.

I´d say dark chocolate ice cream with caramel or sour cherries. Or anything with dark chocolate and dulce de leche. Have fun with the rest of the unpacking, it´s so great when eveything is in it´s place!

hey i totally understand love, been so behind in my blog lately too yikes :/ you're totally entitled to some time off, and dessert of course. I would choose chocolate, just plain as that I think. or maybe baked apples.

Hope your new home is everything you want it to be and so much more.

Now puddings probably an old English Fasting Cheesecake or a caramelised apple tarte tatin. Both are firm favourites although not good for the waistline.

Take care and do a box a day that way you will get to play too

Only one? I'm tied between the lemon tart I had once in a small cafe courtyard in Avignon, France, looking out onto a little square with an old fashioned merry-go-round and an accordion player wheezing on the street corner (it's a cliche that I lived through!) OR butter tarts made with a touch of local maple syrup. Best of luck with the unpacking my dear!

Enjoy your new house and the sorting, which always seems to take forever!
I would choose something featuring pastry, maybe a raspberry or a passion fruit tart x

Apple and raspberry crumble with lashings of thick warm vanilla custard. I don't know if it can be made any better, but I think that would be my heavenly dessert.

I'm a Gemini and we like diversity and options. Really bad at the 'pick one thing' questions I'm afraid!

Good luck getting sorted and settled! Hope you love your new place.

Good luck with the moving process. It took us ages to get everything as we wanted...well, that still hasn't happened and there are lots of boxes in the spare room. Oops! Still, it's lovely once you've settled into a place that's yours.

As for desserts...hmm, anything chocolatey! Xx

I can't choose I LOVE SO MANY desserts...Tiramisu'?? Oh yes Cannolo Siciliano (No idea how translate this)...of course I found it ITALIAN ICE CREAM (my flavours: chocolate, zabaione cream and topped with fresh whipped cream) freshly made in Rome.
