I am surprised that this exquisite restaurant does not have a Michelin star. The restaurant itself is so tasteful - albeit in a rather remote location that's neither here nor there. The staff were so attentive and extremely helpful and polite. I cannot say that it is the best Sunday lunch in the world as I have not eaten every Sunday lunch on offer but other than a few onions in my Yorkshire pudding, I cannot think of any way it could be better.

Giraffe at Basingstoke
I have said that I don't like to be rude, but today, the restaurant Giraffe deserves a less than kind word from me! To sum up my experience of the food, the atmosphere, the staff and the price I would have to go with: Bleugh.
Firstly, I was tempted in by the lunch menu; £6.95 for a main course and a drink. Having been before and had good food and helpful staff (albeit at another location) I would have been a fool not to waltz on in and order away. Turns out I was the fool for putting my foot in the door.

Anzac Biscuits and Chocolate Nut Biscuits
What a week! I felt like I’d earned a good baking session. The following two recipes are really easy and truly yummy.
Anzac Biscuits
Yes perhaps I am a bit premature for Anzac day but nonetheless, they are a deliciously oaty crunchy cookie.
